Dr. John V. Belmonte, Jr.
MD, FACS, Medical Director
Dr. Belmonte graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to complete his Masters in Science degree at the University of Illinois. He then went on to Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine, for his Medical degree. Dr. Belmonte has been board certified by the American Board of Surgery for over 35 years and has been performing aesthetic procedures for many years. His philosophy of practice is that all medical aesthetic services need to be performed safely and effectively. He believes that setting appropriate expectations and clear communication leads to happy satisfied clients.
Dr. Sonal Patel, Ph.D.
Medspa Director & Scientist
Dr. Sonal Patel, received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and she went on to do a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her medical research career was focused on analyzing the changes that occur at the cellular and DNA level during oncogenesis or tumor formation. Her love for science and desire to make an immediate positive impact in the lives of others eventually led her to establish Radiance Skincare & Laser Medspa in Wheaton, IL. She now uses her doctorate in Molecular Biology to stay abreast of the latest aesthetic rejuvenation and anti-aging sciences. Her mission is to research and offer only services that are scientifically sound, clinically-proven and results-oriented. Dr. Patel is passionate about helping her clients look and feel confident at any age.
Julie is a licensed aesthetician in Illinois and Kansas. She graduated from Pivot Point International in Bloomingdale, Illinois. With many years of experience in the skincare industry, both in day spa and medical spa settings, she strives to make your experience at Radiance both pleasant and results driven. Her passion for giving you the best treatments possible has led her to earn several certifications in many different medical technologies as well as skincare lines. She continually educates herself on the newest technologies so that she can share her knowledge with you to develop a successful partnership in achieving your desired results.
Mary is a licensed aesthetician in Illinois. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. However, her life long interest in skin care, fitness, and nutrition eventually led her to obtain an aesthetic license from Pivot Point Academy. Mary has worked previously within a dermatology practice with clients having ethnic skin and those suffering from acne to give them great results. Mary now uses her educational background to educate her clients and to perform results-oriented aesthetic services for Radiance Medspa. She is a life-long learner in the aesthetics industry and keeps up with the latest skin care treatments and products available. Her core belief is: "In the world of aesthetics, education and client expectation is critical in delivering and achieving the best results with ones skin."
Lori is a licensed aesthetician in Illinois. She graduated from The Naperville Skin Institute in Naperville, IL. Having an interest in the spa industry since her teenage years Lori, decided to turn her interest into a career. She started this new task with the commitment to bring awareness and education to people so that they are able to enjoy gorgeous, healthy skin. Lori believes that no matter what your skin has been through it can be improved with the proper treatment and attention. Her goal is to educate and help each client achieve and maintain healthy skin. With her experience and knowledge from both Med Spa’s and Day Spa's she finds the most interest in treating sun damaged skin, aging skin, rosacea and menopausal skin issues. She loves that this is a hands on helping profession where she can educate and make a difference in her client’s lives.
Theresa received a her Bachelors of Science in nursing in 1993. After working in a hospital setting for many years, Theresa's love for skincare and aesthetics led her to train and receive certificates in BOTOX, Dermal Filler, chemical peels and the other medical technologies offered at Radiance. Theresa continues to educate herself in all area of aesthetics and skincare to provide the best treatments that offer alternatives to cosmetic surgery.
Margo has been a practicing Registered Nurse since 2000. She started her nursing career in Emergency Medicine but her passion for skin rejuvenation and overall health and wellness led to a career shift in 2006 focusing on aesthetic services. Margo brings her extensive injectables experience & training in Sclerotherapy, BOTOX, dermal fillers and other anti-aging procedures to the clients at Radiance Medspa to help them achieve their aesthetic goals. Additionally, Margo’s core belief in overall health & wellness is always reflected in her treatment recommendations to clients.
