Unlike other laser treatments, the PiXel8-RF can be safely used on all skin types. By only using radiofrequency energy, there is no risk of thermal damage to the epidermis. As a result, there is almost no risk of PIH in darker skin types, making it an ideal treatment option for anyone.
Minimal To No Downtime
Clients typically experience very minimal-to-no downtime after the PiXel8-RF procedure. Only a few restrictions are common after treatment. The treated area may have minor redness for up to a full day, and your downtime may increase if the magnitude of the procedure is deeper.
Most patients will experience minor swelling in addition to redness, which will typically ease within 24 hours or less. It’s also recommended to keep your skin makeup-free for 24 hours after treatment.
