Our skin loses its natural clarity and smoothness with age, and due to a reduction in collagen formation, we also develop wrinkles. All of these changes are responsible for the dull, rough, and lax skin that we see when looking into a mirror. While some correction can be obtained with medical-grade skincare serums, many times, a resurfacing treatment is necessary to give your skin the boost it needs.
Say hello to our newest anti-aging device…the PiXel8-RF! It combines microneedling with radiofrequency to give you even better results with less down-time than traditional Lasers. The outcome of this advanced technology is the elimination of irregular pigmentation, tightening of dermal collagen, and visibly smoother skin.
Treating Skin Conditions With Radiofrequency Microneedling
Microblade RF (radiofrequency) needling skin therapy helps to improve your complexion by rejuvenating, tightening, and lifting the skin. The PiXel8-RF can be used to treat a wide range of dermatological imperfections, including:
- Skin tightening
- Wrinkle reduction
- Acne scar improvement
- Skin tone and texture
- Pore reduction
- Scar reduction
- Double chin reduction
- Jowl lifting
- Eyebrow lifting
- Neck lifting
- Hand rejuvenation
How Does PiXel8-RF Treatment Work?
RF needling is a non-invasive treatment for correcting imperfections on the skin. Radiofrequency technology is used to boost collagen growth and improve the overall health, look, and feel of your skin. The PiXel8 instrument is a roller with tiny needles at the end. The needles barely penetrate the surface enough to “trick” your body into thinking that there is damage that needs to be repaired with an increase in collagen to the treated area. Unlike other skin treatments, including traditional facials, and other facial procedures, PiXel8-RF uses radiofrequency technology to improve the skin from the inside. By applying therapy to the second layer of the skin (your dermis), you will experience an increase in volume, collagen production, and overall tightening in your skin.
Safe For All Skin Types
Unlike other laser treatments, the PiXel8-RF can be safely used on all skin types. By only using radiofrequency energy, there is no risk of thermal damage to the epidermis. As a result, there is almost no risk of PIH in darker skin types, making it an ideal treatment option for anyone.
Minimal To No Downtime
Clients typically experience very minimal-to-no downtime after the PiXel8-RF procedure. Only a few restrictions are common after treatment. The treated area may have minor redness for up to a full day, and your downtime may increase if the magnitude of the procedure is deeper.
Most patients will experience minor swelling in addition to redness, which will typically ease within 24 hours or less. It’s also recommended to keep your skin makeup-free for 24 hours after treatment.
Traditional Microneedling Vs. RF Microneedling
Traditional microneedling utilizes a device that creates micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body’s own healing response to start producing collagen and elastin. This process is what tightens the skin to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring. PiXel8-RF Needling adds the element of radiofrequency to the device, so the effects you can achieve from regular microneedling are now more deeply penetrated into your skin’s inner layers for quicker, and more dramatic results.
Are You Ready To See Better Results In Less Time?
Pixel8-RF can efficiently address fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, irregular textures on the skin, and improves elasticity and collagen production. RF Microneedling is not recommended for those expecting to see immediate results. Many clients will see results after two to three sessions, spaced at least four weeks apart. However, the total number of recommended treatments will depend on how well your skin responds to the initial treatment and how severe your skin concerns are.
If you’re self-conscious about your bare skin, radio-frequency microneedling may be the confidence boost you need. Contact Radiance Skincare & Laser Medspa today to schedule a consultation or to inquire about other ideal treatment options for your skin.
