Ellie is a licensed esthetician and laser technician who completed a Certified Dermatology Technician program with Forefront Dermatology. Her goal is to help every client look and feel their best after each treatment.
What Is Moxi?
Moxi is a non-ablative fractional laser from Sciton. It creates tiny treatment zones in the skin, prompting your skin’s natural renewal process to improve tone and texture.
Moxi is often described as “prejuvenation”: it is used both to prevent early signs of aging and to treat existing sun damage. It can be used on all skin types and at any time of year.

Moxi can be used on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms and legs.
What to Expect
Numbing cream may be applied first, depending on the intensity of your treatment. The laser is then rolled over the skin; the treatment itself takes only a few minutes for the face.
Most patients need 3 to 4 sessions. Plan for 3 to 5 days of downtime: skin can look pink and feel dry or rough as treated skin renews. Use sunscreen daily and avoid direct sun while you heal.

Moxi can be paired with BBL HEROic to address pigment, redness and texture together. Your provider will let you know whether combining them suits your skin.
