How does the EZ Gel process work?
- EZ Gel is made from a sample of your own blood. This is a small sample, similar to what you give at the doctor’s office when having blood tests performed.
- The sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate out concentrated plasma. Blood is centrifuged at a low speed to retain more cells and encourage a scaffold to form.
- The collected platelet rich fibrin and albumin are heated and then cooled to stimulate self-assembly and create a structured gel.
- EZ Gel is injected into target areas for fresh cell regeneration and repair.
- This produces an immediate effect and also delivers longer-term results as the gel stimulates new collagen production.
What to know before treatment
Side effects are minimal
Because the gel is derived from your own blood, there is no risk of allergic reaction. Treatment is safe and symptoms following injection will be minimal, typically minor swelling and redness at the injection sites. This will resolve within a couple days.
Length of results will vary
