Top Beauty Trends to Watch

Face Masks

There’s a wide variety of face masks available, so they’re popular among all skin types and ages. Masks can help improve acne and hydrate the skin for anti-aging and health. Make sure to test a mask on a small area of skin first to make sure you don’t have a bad reaction.

  • In-Office Option: A personally formulated facial will not only cleanse and hydrate skin, but tend to individual concerns that a more universal mask can’t address.

Vegan Beauty

More and more people are following a vegan diet, and they want their products to follow suit. The report showed popular searches for “vegan soap,” “vegan chapstick,” “vegan lotion,” and  more.

  • In-Office Option: Let us know if you’re vegan or have other concerns about product ingredients, and we’ll help you find the option that is a good fit.

Charcoal Masks

Charcoal has been showing up everywhere – and not just for its detoxifying properties. The starkly black aesthetics of activated charcoal fill Instagram feeds and have led charcoal to be used in a variety of beauty products (and even ice cream). Charcoal extracts dirt and excess oil from the skin to help reduce breakouts.

  • In-Office Option: A chemical peel will help improve a wide variety of concerns and revitalize the skin.

Peel-Off Masks

These masks have gained a lot of popularity within the beauty guru community because the peeling action and pore contents left behind on the mask make for great video content. Most peel-off masks are vitamin- and plant-based. They accomplish mild damage repair and aging prevention, but won’t do anything dramatic.

  • In-Office Option: Clear + Brilliant is a mild laser treatment for patients with only mild premature aging and concerns about keeping their skin in healthy shape.

Face Cleansing Brushes

If someone you know has bought a face brush in the last year, they’re onto something. People are excited about these brushes because they can help improve circulation to reduce puffiness and clogged pores. Face brushes can be great tools for lymphatic stimulation and toxin release. This helps prevent blemishes and encourages glowing skin.

  • In-Office Option: Microdermabrasion gently exfoliates the outermost layer of the skin to stimulate cellular turnover and skin renewal.
